Zillionth times a charm?

Well first off, my Memorial Day weekend was decent. We stayed pretty busy...unfortunately not busy enough to keep me from eating my ass off! This issue brings me to a few things I have been pondering:

#1: Why is it that I can eat fairly healthy all week long and the scale won't budge but then I eat like crap on the weekend and lose 2lbs????? I don't understand that. I thought if you follow the rules of nature/science/body that there's a formula to weight loss. (burn more calories than you consume +exercise=weight loss!) Right? Well my formula is outta freakin wack or something. I ate decent all last week and barely lost a couple ounces, then I eat taco bell and fried food on Saturday and weigh the next day and lost 1.5lbs!!! WTF???? So trying to keep with the trend I eat some "not so great" foods the next day too and what happens???? I gain 2lbs!!! DAMN there is no winnning! What's up with that?

#2: How did I not get the size of a house before the band? I have figured up the math and it doesn't make since that I maintained my weight for so long and didn't gain tons of pounds constantly. I mean how was I able to consume like 3000-4000 calories a day including sodas, candy, chips, etc etc etc and NEVER exercise and not gain weight every day??? Now it's like I can literally gain a more than 1lb a day if I don't watch what I eat and exercise but back then I didn't give a hoot and could eat like crap for months and not gain a pound. HOW????? Can someone please explain this to me???

Any answers to these baffling questions are appreciated! Thanks!

Also I got my belly button repierced on Sunday now that my stomach is semi-smaller. I have had it done twice before and took it out because I felt I was getting too big for it. Hopefully this time it will last.

  4. You have noooo scars! How didya do that? I haven't figured out how we can lose weight after a high fat meal. I think the body doesn't know what to do with the fat and it just passes through. I remember being on a low carb diet and hadn't lost anything in a week. So I splurged on KFC and the next day dropped 2 pounds. Never figured it out. Problem was I kept eating and gained so hopefully the band will be more forgiving.

  7. Cute belly! You look like a tiny little thing. Ugh I'm almost to goal and I could never have a belly button ring.. lol I have a pudgy belly no matter what.
